Volunteering as a referee in the interschool under-15 girls football tournament was a rewarding experience that allowed me to contribute to the sport while ensuring fair play and safety on the field. As a referee, I was responsible for overseeing the match rules, making quick decisions, and maintaining a balanced and positive environment for the young athletes. It was exciting to witness the skills and teamwork of the players, and I felt proud to be part of their growth in the sport.
The role required strong communication, focus, and the ability to manage the game with integrity. Despite the challenges, especially managing the energy and emotions of young players, the experience deepened my understanding of football dynamics and reinforced the importance of fairness in sports. It was inspiring to see the passion and dedication of the players, and I hope to continue supporting sports events in the future.
