Global odyssey is a event where the Grade 11 students of Business management and economics show their learning by selling and buying products. I was in the decor team for this event. I along with the team managed the decoration of the event. In this event we sell products and invite other grades to be our customers. We donated 2% of our sales to the charity and we introduced a rule of own tiffin were the consumers were asked to bring their own tiffin to eat the food products.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken
This was the first event where I was a part of the decor team as usually for other events I choose to be in different teams then decor but I took the challenge of being in the decor team. I am good at creativity but it was my first time showing or using my creative for a event like this. While making the decorative pieces I had to learn to make them from someone from the team and then use to help them in making the decor items. I learnt to make a lot of decor items while working in the decor team.

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
As being in the decor team was a challenge for me but during this time I realized that after learning once from the team members I was able to make the decor items. Also, I was able to give ideas for decor for the event which also executed successfully. I now am confident that I can decor for a event like this as I discovered myself by taking up this challenge and now successfully. I identified that I am creative and I have interest in being creative and I developed myself by showing my creativity and learning how to show my creative in events like these in future.
