Global Odyssey was a great chance to explore my interest in social media management and marketing.The whole event was very fun due to its  liveliness and interesting concept.It made me express my creativity and develop many skills along the way.

First of all,I got to implement my leadership skills since I was the lead in charge of the social media department.(LOI 3) There were a lot of instances where I had to plan and initiate new ideas for reels and posts and constantly working on editing videos and designing aesthetically pleasing posts made me develop my creative thinking skills.(LOI 2)

Also since I was working in a group so tasks that require collaborating and cooperating came naturally on my way.(LOI 5) I had to effectively communicate and cooperate  with not only my team but also pitch ideas to the teacher incharge.Gathering people across my grade for reels and posts also served as a part of my collaboration skills.

Although there were many conflicts and disapprovals/disagreements it taught me effective team management.There were times when I wanted to quit because of how daunting the tasks were becoming and with constant mixed feedback staying committed to this event was challenging.(LOI 4) However,with perseverance I came over this feeling and successfully succeeded in maintaining a good instagram page for the event.

To conclude,this event was very interesting and taught me a lot of things.It not only made me explore the field of my interest but made me learn high-end skills relevant in today’s time.
