For my CAS experience I have participated in a two day trek program which was held at Igatpuri, Maharashtra. There are three LOs which I have catered in this experience that are LO 1(Identify own strengths and develop areas of growth Screen reader support enabled)., LO 4 ( Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience),. and LO 5 (Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively).
In this two day trek program there were many areas where we have worked collaboratively for example, we have visited a local school in Igatpuri where we needed to teach or do some physical activities with the children of that local school. We also had a very good trek experience and we had a lot of fun.
LO1(identify own strengths and develop areas of growth Screen reader support enabled): On this Igatpuri trip I have identified my own strengths and limitation. To begin with the strengths, the strength I have developed is that I am very hardworking and enthusiastic because in this trip we had physical activities to perform and I had done that with full enthusiastical and energy which shows that how energetic I was throughout the trip. Now talking about limitation in my trip, one of the limitation is that our sir told us to sleep around 10:30 pm which I did not follow and I played cards with my friends till 3:30 am because of which I was sleepy on the next day.
LO4 (Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience): I like to do trekking and explore nature a lot and it is my dream to explore as many mountains as I can in my entire life. In igatpuri we had 2 trek sessions. I was very interested and eager to complete those two trek and I had done so with full energy and commitment. On the day we arrived at igatpuri it was raining and the next day we had a trek, because of the rain everything was wet by which everyone’s shoes was slipping both in spite of this difficulties I have completed the trek with eaze which show that I had shown perseverance throughout my CAS experience. Which shows that I had shown perseverance and commitment in my CAS experience.
LO 5: (Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively): In igatpuri we had a session on the 2nd day that we have to make teams of 4 people in which we had to go to a rural school and teach or play with the students of that rural school. So me and my friends had made a plan 1 day before at the night that we will play some games with the students so we planned some games like kho-kho, kabaddi, etc. As we know that planning need collaborative skills by which we had some much full with the kids while playing. Which shows that I had demonstrated skills and the benefits of working collaboratively.
