Farwell being the most awaited event every year where juniors organize a special farewell for their seniors. Grade 12 is the culmination of the most special and unforgettable adventure of our life, which comes to an end with the farewell. The farewell needs to be the most memorable and special for our seniors to make them feel special on their last event of school life. Being in decor team, I enjoyed working with my peers to plan Farewell as a memorable one. It was a task that required a lot of commitment and lot of ideas to make it creativity and special for our seniors. Throughout the process, there were a variety of a range of challenges, but the group as a whole collaborated to overcome them. As there were a lot of tasks to finish but limited time, we also improved our time management abilities. We put everything we had into making the last event for our seniors a big success.

L2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

This event was full of fun but it also brought us a few challenges. The one of the biggest challenges we all faced during the planning of the farewell event was managing time effectively. I had a lot of other deadlines and summative aligned and hence commitment and persistence was a must. In addition, I had to develop the skill of task delegation, something I had not done much of previously. By taking the time to prepare and arrange my work, I was able to overcome these obstacles.

L4. Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

My commitment towards this event was up to the point as we had the challenge of throwing our seniors the best farewell ever .Even though doing tasks on the last prep day was one thing that occurred but till that day the whole team worked hard .Putting in efforts to come for early ins even when we have many submissions and also motivating each other to compelled the task as early as possible so for the last day we don’t have many tasks aligned up

L5. Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

Social and communication skills were essential during this event. Working with the entire team, seeking their input, and supporting one another during absences, among other things. The farewell would not have been successful without teamwork. The work was much easier to complete when everyone worked together since they were willing to support one another. In this way, we were able to complete everything on schedule. Every staff member contributed their own ideas, and we made sure to take into account almost everyone in some way to ensure the success of the farewell.

L7. Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

Being in the decor team we all made sure that all the resources provided to us were used wisely and there was less waste created. Also we made sure that we don’t order the unnecessary resources and make the best of ours efforts with the provided resources.
