I have selected table tennis as my PS. I have always thought that table tennis is a very easy sport and it does not take a lot of effort to win in these games, but I was wrong when I first had my match with the other students. There are different techniques and skills in this sport, a lot of different styles of playing and a lot of hand and leg movements. When I joined table tennis I was very new to it and was still figuring out how to play it but then after years of playing it I got to know many styles and ways to play this sport.
LO 1:Identify own strength and developed area of growth:
While playing table tennis I could identify that I was really good in rallies. When playing with sir I could easily do more than 50 rallies and this was a strength that I found in myself. Slowly I started with doing rallies with the teacher and then started to learn new techniques, however it was difficult to do those but with practice I got better and developed areas of growth.
LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills:
One of the biggest challenges that I face during my PS slots are to learn how to toss a ball. Since there are different types of tosses, it is very difficult to learn and attempt those styles. Attempting these new techniques I got to learn a lot of different types of styles in which we can play table tennis. I developed many new skills that I was not aware of before.
LO 5:Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively:
Table tennis can not be played individually, we require a team or pairs to play this sport. Working collaboratively means that we need to cooperate and respect each other’s team. If we don’t work with each other then we can lose our match. The benefit of working with each other during the match is that the other person will not be rude and the match will go in a decent manner.
