As part of my selected subject, Business Management, we participated in an event called Global Odyssey, where we showcased the skills and knowledge we had gained through our studies. My team and I set up a stall focused on fashion, allowing us to explore and apply various business concepts in a practical setting.

LOI 4: Show Commitment to and Perseverance in CAS Experience.
Setting up our fashion stall for Global Odyssey required significant commitment and perseverance. The process began with extensive planning, where we brainstormed ideas for our stall’s theme, layout, and merchandise. Each step demanded ongoing effort, from researching fashion trends and sourcing materials to designing promotional materials and arranging logistics for the day of the event. On the day of Global Odyssey, my team and I worked tirelessly to set up our stall, ensuring everything was visually appealing and organized. We faced challenges, such as last-minute technical issues and unexpected changes in logistics. However, our dedication to the project kept us focused, and we persevered through these obstacles. This experience taught me the importance of resilience and determination in successfully executing a project.

LOI 5: Demonstrate the Skills and Recognize the Benefits of Working Collaboratively.
Collaboration was essential in making our fashion stall a success. By dividing responsibilities among team members, we effectively utilized each person’s strengths and talents. I took the lead in designing the visual aspects of the stall, while my teammates focused on sourcing products and managing finances. This delegation of tasks allowed us to work efficiently and ensure that every aspect of the project was handled effectively. Regular communication helped us stay aligned and adapt to any changes that arose during the planning process.
