Community Clean up drive session is an initiative organized by our school amining to clean the surrounds and keep it clean to avoid disease,make the place safe for the animals and to keep the environment clean.The whole CAS experience was divided into 4 sessions where in,in the first two sessions we went to the nearby pond and for the other rest two sessions we went for Tapi riverfront cleaning.These sessions taught new things to everyone of us since during the pond cleaning we got to know to manage the oxygen under the water for the birds which drink that water it very important to keep it clean.These sessions taught us that we all should though the trash in the trash bin and keep the surroundings clean for a healthy life and clean environment.Our initiative not only contributed to society but also promoted sustainable development. By doing so, we also catered to several sustainable development goals like Goal 3,6,11, 12, 13,14 and 15.

L4. Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

The two places where we went for cleaning in the span of four sessions were quite large enough,they contained a lot of trash all over the place.To cover the whole space everyone of us divided ourselves into several small group and took over a small space to clean and hence we were able to clean the whole space easily.This CAS experience required a lot of dedication and effort.The cleaning task was proving to be difficult since it needed quite a lot of work form collecting garbage, putting it in bags, then giving the bags to the Eco vision organizations so they can dispose it. This experience gave us a time to treasure and reflect on our contribution to the city.The cleaning sessions were organized in early-in and a 2 slots of our school timetable which was another challenge since waking up early in the morning and then covering up the missed part of the school was a bit difficult.

L5. Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

Teamwork plays a vital role in completing this CAS experience since we were given with a big space of land and to collect trash from the whole space required teamwork and a lot of effort.To clean the vast area we divided ourselves into small groups and started collecting the trash from all over the space provided.This not only helped us to clean the area but also taught us how to work collaboratively in a small group of people.In addition,working together made it easy to achieve our goal.Collaborating with each other enable us to collect more trash and inspire us to do so for the sustainability of the environment.

L6. Engagement with issues of global significance

The issue which we were catering to was waste over the area of our city,which is not just a local issue now but has increased over the years affecting the society,environment and health.During the clean-up sessions we catered to a lot of sustainable development goals including Goal 3,6,11, 12, 13,14 and 15. Land pollution, and climate change are some of the major issues being addressed in the clean-up drives. These factors have the potential to harm the fragile coastal ecology as well as the marine world, which is home to a wide variety of marine animals. We should make the beach area our home and learn how to enjoy it without harming it since beaches that are littered with waste might have an adverse effect on the sustainability of our natural system. If beaches are not sufficiently protected, they may sustain harm.

L7. Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

Taking part in this CAS experience taught us a lot of things.Firstly, we collected trash from all over the provided space and gave the collected trash to the Eco vision organization to dispose of,we took an initiative to keep our surroundings clean benefiting the environment and animals too.During our third and fourth drive we went to Tapi river font for cleaning and looking us clean maybe the people around could get motivation to keep the environment clean.I chose this experience was morally right because it benefitted both the community and also the environment.The SDGs catered in this CAS experience are Goal 3,6,11, 12, 13,14 and 15.
