Every Year at fountainhead Grade 11 students organize a farewell for the graduating batch (G-12). This even includes planning making and executing of aesthetically pleasing decor , choreographing dances , planning and executing fun activities and games. Organizing the farewell promotes a sense of responsibility and teamwork within the students. In this event I was a part of the decor team.

LO4 : Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experiences

Even though the Farwell was held on 17th February but the process of planning and making the decoration had started from 2-3 weeks before the event so that we had enough time to make all the decorations. Along with this , we also other ongoing events , academic work and deadlines to meet, I managed my time accordingly and planned my schedule in such a way that i don’t miss out on academic work.

LO5 : Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

We were around 15 people in the decor team , initially we did face some difficulties in working collaboratively but as time passed we all were able to find common grounds and ensure the smooth execution of the event. Since we had so much work to do , we had divided the work among ourselves that really helped us work more efficiently.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

As I mentioned earlier there were a lot of other things going on along side this event, through that I had developed and improved my time management and stress management skills. I planned my schedule which I normally did not do , also I found ways which helped me remain calm amidst all the chaos going on at that time.
