G-12 Farewell Dance- Creativity

Being part of the CAS program has been exciting, especially when I got to join the G-12 farewell event as a volunteer dancer. This experience helped me discover new things about myself and taught me the importance of working together with others.

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth:

Taking part in the farewell event let me see what I’m good at and where I can improve. At first, I was nervous about dancing, but with practice and help from the other volunteers, I started feeling more confident. I realized that knowing yourself and being ready to take on challenges can help you get better.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills:

Learning and performing a dance routine in a short time was tough, but I didn’t give up. I kept trying, and eventually, I not only learned the dance but also got better at handling new challenges.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively:

Working with the other dancers and instructors was key to our success. We supported each other and worked as a team to make our performance great. This showed me how important it is to work together and communicate well.

Looking back, being part of the farewell event taught me a lot. It helped me grow as a person and showed me that trying new things can lead to amazing experiences. I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned, and I know they’ll stay with me as I continue my journey in the CAS program and beyond.
