Anand Utsav- Activity,Service

Sometimes, we forget to appreciate the people who quietly help make our school life easier. The Anand Utsav event was a chance to express gratitude towards the support staff members. As a volunteer game organizer, I got to plan activities like tug of war, where I served by making them play the game as a volunteer. This CAS experience helped me in serving as a volunteer by performing activities as a note of gratitude for the support staff members, who help us in my daily life in the school to make my work easier.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience:

Getting ready for the Anand Utsav event took a lot of hard work and sticking with it. I had to plan games, get everything we needed, and make sure everyone knew what to do. Even when things got tough, I kept going because I really wanted to make the event special for our support staff.

LO6 – Engagement with issues of global significance:

Even though the event was just for our school, it made me think about how important it is to appreciate people everywhere. By showing gratitude to our support staff, we showed that everyone’s work matters, no matter where they are. This experience taught me that being kind and thankful can make a big difference in the world.

LO7 – Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions:

As a volunteer, I knew it was important to be fair and respectful to everyone involved. I made sure the games were fun for everyone and that everyone felt included. Treating others with kindness and fairness was really important to me, and I wanted to make sure everyone felt valued.

The Anand Utsav event was a chance to show kindness and appreciation. By working hard, thinking about global issues, and treating everyone with respect, which made the event special for our support staff, and helped us express how special they are and how important their role is in our daily lives.
