In the donation drives we were going to an aavas where we were made friends with the poor children living there where we used to teach those children and after the teaching session we used to donate food to them where due to the food service most of the children used to come and learn and get food in return where we faced lot of issues like the language gap like we talked and taught in english but, we they weren’t understanding our language and there we had to translate it to marathi, hindi or gujarati, which was a little bit tricky as we have learnt in english, and also sometimes some children won’t study and instead keep doing mischief or fight and so we had to scold them and also calm them down. The good part was when we had sports or games sessions then all of them would come and play which made our friendship more deeper and also after the sessions ended we asked the NGO volunteer to let us go there for some more time. Overall the sessions were fun and sometimes hectic due to language gaps and age as they would do mischief during the sessions.
