This event is full of joy and entertainment; it is led by students to make it special for our school’s support staff. This day is celebrated for them to show our gratitude towards them. We thank them for working for us and helping us in every possible way. For waking up early to provide us with transportation and food. For always helping us whenever we need it. And for working tirelessly every day for us.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills:

My task was to organize games for our support staff. I had to plan everything along with others who were a part of it as well. I was under a time constraint because I had to focus on my academics and was organizing another event that needed more of my time, so prioritizing things was a bit difficult with a lot of events going on parallel. So, I developed new skills to better manage my time and plan my day so that I can get the most out of it, instead of wasting it away.

LO5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively:

We all worked together as a team to make this day very special and memorable for our support staff. I put all our efforts into this event, from making the decorations and placing them in the venue to performing acts and dancing for them and organizing games for them to play so they could enjoy their day with us students. And at the end, we asked them to join us for garba as they love to dance. It was all seen in how much we all helped each other even though we weren’t assigned that particular task. It made things faster and easier as we had extra helping hands.
