In anand utsav we have to plan activities and performances for the staff members of our school.I selected anand utsav as my CAS project because since the the bhaiya and didi of our school do so much for us and help us in everything, so I decided to do something for them and then I selected this event as my CAS project. Since this was our project we had to do everything on our own, from managing everything to planning it.

LO 3:Initiate and plan a CAS experience:

Since this was our CAS project all the responsibilities and management was our duty. From planning what to do to actually being there on the actual day. We had to initiate this project and handle it. We all had meetings and discussions to regroup every volunteer and come up with ideas and decorations to do on the actual day, Additionally we had to prepare and arrange the food for the staff members.

LO 5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively:

There were a lot of activities and performances that we had to plan. This would have not been completed if we would have not worked together. By working together with each other we can accomplish the work on time and with greater efficiency. We had distributed the work amongst the leaders and then were given with volunteers so that we can do all the task together. There were few disagreements while working together however we had to cooperate and collaborate with each other.

LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions:

We had to follow some rules and regulations while completing this project. Since anand utsav is for the staff members of our school and they are not very well educated, we were supposed to be civilized and be patient with all the didi’s and bhaiya’s. We followed ethics by doing the right thing and by teaching the staff members the right thing and not misbehaving with them.
