Grade 12 Farewell was an event organized within school premises by the grade 11 students who were selected for the same. It was a very huge and a grand event hosted for the batch of 2024 in order to greet them a very special goodbye for completing their school life. I was selected for dancing in the following event. 

Learning outcome 4: Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience. 

Farewell is a very emotional day for everyone specially for the batch who is graduating. This day was very special for them and it was our job and our responsibility to give them a very nice farewell which they could remember for the rest of their lives. The relationship between these 2 batches were really special from the very start. Batch of 2024 and 2025 were always together in sports, in academics and in interschool activities. They were our best seniors and they deserved a good ending and so we had to work very hard and show commitment towards the event in order to give our seniors a very special goodbye. 

Learning outcome 5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboartively. 

As stated, I was a part of the dance team in which we were supposed to perform 2 paradoys each 10 minutes long in front of our seniors in order to entertain them. Dance required alot of communication and collaboration in order to make it look fun and entertaining. Each day for 2 weeks we used to meet for early ins, we used to have pullouts in order to work hard and enhance our dancing for our final performances. And farewell lining up just after global odyssey was also a big challenge because we weren’t able to manage time nicely. But in the end everyone came together for our seniors and we gave our best on the event day. 

Togetherness and the purpose to participate in the event was really the motivation because its the connection with our seniors that kept us going and going and eventually our performance made their day even more special and made them very happy.
