Anand utsav is an event organized by the student volunteers, the event is specially organized for the support staff of our school to show our gratitude and appreciation for their hard work. The event includes entertainment and activities for the support staff to have a wonderful time from their hectic schedule.As it was my project, I made sure that the event was successful. I was in incharge of the games segment, I had to plan different games which the support staff would enjoy. 

LO2 (Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process)Being the incharge of the event was no easy as expected, The day before the event was, we got to know that we had a change in the venue and we no longer had the assembly, we were shifted to EY assembly, it was difficult for us to manage all the games in the EY assembly, but we managed it. Another challenge I faced was, the resources for the games came at the very end when the event was about to start, which made it a lot stressful for us to set up the game stations. During these challenges I developed self-management skills as on the day of the event there were many difficulties but still managed to handle the event and my part of the job.

LO3 (Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience)We are in charge, we divide ourselves into 3 teams, for games, decor and entertainment. It made it easier for us as the tasks were divided amongst us which made things less stressful. As mentioned above I was in incharge of the games, so I planned several games which the support staff can enjoy and everyone is included. The games which i planned were, Tug of war, musical chair, standing kho-kho, and lemon and spoon. We also did garba and it turned out to be the best thing, the support staff mostly enjoyed garba. 

LO5 (Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively)Working collaboratively was very beneficial. We divided ourselves in 2 batches on the day of the event so each and every incharge can experience the entertainment part and also the games part. Both of the batches were working parallelly one in entertainment and other in game, So it was important to communicate and make sure the event is going smoothly. 

LO7 (Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions)This event is specially organized for the support staff. As a token of appreciation for their hard work and their commitment to the work, I was pleased to see them enjoying their hectic schedule and having fun with their friends and us. 

In conclusion, there were many difficulties before the event and during the event day but I managed to complete my part of the task and ensure the event was successful and also the support staff is having fun, the learner profile characteristic which i developed was communicator as there 2 batches going at the same time so the communication between the incharges was very important to ensure everything is going according to the plan. Overall seeing the support staff enjoying was a heartening moment, at last we the incharges joined in to have fun with the support staff and also gave them a thank you card.
