Cas Trip to Lachhakdi Village

Arriving in Lachhakadi village, we were greeted by a sense of adventure mixed with a bit of nervousness. Surrounded by fields and embraced by friendly faces, we knew we were in for a memorable experience. The days ahead promised to be filled with new discoveries and meaningful connections.

Learning Outcomes:

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth: In the heart of Lachhakadi, we had the chance to explore our talents and passions in unexpected ways. For me, it was a chance to unleash my love for painting as I helped decorate school walls with vibrant murals. Through this experience, I not only improved my painting skills but also discovered new interests waiting to be explored.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills: As we tackled the challenges of the trip, from helping in the fields to trying out rock climbing, we discovered a newfound sense of resilience within ourselves. Despite moments of doubt, we pushed forward, learning new skills and gaining confidence with each obstacle overcome. Whether it was rappelling down a cliff or planting mango trees, every challenge became an opportunity for growth.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience: Throughout our time in Lachhakadi, we remained committed to making a positive impact on the community. From teaching children basic skills to painting school walls, we worked tirelessly to contribute in any way we could. Even when faced with setbacks or fatigue, our determination never wavered. Our commitment to service and growth fueled us through the highs and lows of the journey, leaving a lasting impression on both us and the community we served.
