In September of 2024, I casted on an online gaming tournament organized by some of my colleagues. Casting is basically commentary and live play-by-play description and analysis of the game. This is one of the most important elements when it comes to love streams and displays of online games as it makes the experience greatly immersive and also easy to follow. I also participated greatly in the offline setup and greatly aided the tournament with my fellow caster in streaming it, talking and engaging with the viewers, commenting, replying to comments, explaining strategies and evaluating the effectiveness of moves made by the players and many more.

I had presented the tournament with my co-caster. Working together did prove extremely beneficial to me as we had to cast for 4-5 hours straight for 2 days and even during breaks we needed to talk to the viewers and analyse tactics, interview players and much more. Apart from the rigor of commenting with which my co caster obviously helped, he also helped with with in game analysis and identification of strategies to explain and point out to the audience. Working collaboratively, we could get much more engagement, much better content and overall a successful event.
