Description of the Activity and Goals:

As part of our CAS project, my friends and I organized a food donation drive with the goal of supporting individuals living in underprivileged conditions, specifically those residing under bridges and near temples. We decided to collect and distribute essential food items, including biscuits and ration supplies, to help alleviate hunger for a small part of this population. Our aim was not only to provide immediate relief but also to raise awareness among our peers about the importance of giving back to the community and addressing the issue of food insecurity.

LO 1: Identify Own Strengths and Develop Areas for Growth

During this project, I recognized my ability to empathize with others and take initiative in organizing the donation drive. I found that I could connect with the recipients, understanding their needs and treating them with dignity and respect. However, I realized that my organizational skills could be improved, especially when it came to coordinating logistics.
