Donating food is a simple yet impactful way to address hunger and food insecurity, both locally and globally. Food donation involves giving surplus food to those in need, diverting it from landfills and putting it to good use. This act not only provides nourishment to individuals and families facing hunger but also helps reduce food waste, which is a significant environmental and social issue.

LO 6-Engagement with issues of global significance

Whereas the involvement focused​ оn​​ a local community,​​ Ñ–t highlighted the global issue​​ оf unequal access​​ of food due to less land for growing crops and drought season, they walk 2-5 km to get water for their family.Another significant global challenge is poverty and inequality. Despite advancements in technology and economic growth in many parts of the world, billions of people still live in poverty without access to basic necessities such as food, clean water.Another significant global challenge is poverty and inequality. So we decided to take a small step by helping a village and donating food to them. We went on different times and dates to make sure that we help them with food for a period of time.

LO 5- Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

I did teamworks skills by collaborating with my teammates donating food with me and environments often involve encountering challenges and obstacles like high rate of temperatures and lots of people coming at us at one go and arranging them in a line order to create less confusion.I used Developing problem-solving skills that enables teams to identify issues, brainstorm solutions collectively, and implement strategies to overcome barriers. We also used flexibility by collaborative work environments are dynamic and ever-changing. Being flexible and adaptable allows me and my teammates to adjust to shifting priorities, roles, and strategies as needed.

LO 4- Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

As the project progresses,i encountered unforeseen obstacles such high UV rays. Through adaptability and problem-solving skills we made different times and divided into dates of visiting the village to donate food. Despite setbacks i maintain a positive attitude and continue to work towards the project’s goals. n summary,i showed perseverance and commitment in a CAS experience involves overcoming challenges, adapting to obstacles, and staying focused on the project’s goals and objectives. By demonstrating resilience and determination and always helping people in need who have shortage in food.
