Description of the Activity and Goals:
The primary goal of our CAS project was to organize and deliver a memorable farewell event including fabulous dance performances, Games, a Disco and a feast for our seniors that they would cherish as a lasting memory reminding them of their school farewell days. We aimed to create an experience that would leave them with a sense of belonging and a strong connection to our school. However, we faced numerous challenges, including a significant reduction in the budget compared to previous years, restricted venue options due to ongoing construction, and last-minute resource shortages. Despite these obstacles, our organizing committee, including myself, persevered to ensure the event’s success.

LO 1: Identify Own Strengths and Develop Areas for Growth
Through this project, I identified my strengths in problem-solving and adaptability. I realized I have the ability to stay calm under pressure and find creative solutions when resources are limited. However, I also noticed that I tend to hesitate when faced with conflicts, which I recognize as an area for growth. Being aware of both my strengths and weaknesses is crucial as it allows me to leverage my strengths while actively working on improving areas that need development. Addressing my hesitation in conflict situations would have made negotiations with teachers smoother and more effective.

The most challenging aspect of this project was managing the event with a reduced budget and venue restrictions. This was difficult because we had to deliver a high-quality event with limited resources, which was unlike anything I had done before. This experience taught me the importance of resourcefulness and teamwork in overcoming obstacles.
