Igatpuri – 2 day trek 

Embarking on a weekend hike in Igatpuri presented a diverse chance to commune with the environment, encourage well-being, and support learning, all while tackling the worldwide concern of climate change. During this hands-on adventure, my goal was to showcase determination, persistence, and dedication to the trek programme. 

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

Trekking in Igatpuri presented a series of physical and mental challenges that tested our endurance and pushed us beyond our comfort zones. From navigating rugged terrain to braving unpredictable weather conditions, each obstacle provided an opportunity to develop new skills and cultivate resilience. By embracing the challenges with determination and adaptability, I honed my navigational abilities, improved my physical fitness, and sharpened my problem-solving skills. Moreover, engaging with nature allowed me to deepen my understanding of environmental conservation and the urgent need to mitigate the impacts of climate change. LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

Our trekking expedition in Igatpuri required unwavering perseverance and commitment as we trekked through steep hills. Despite physical fatigue, I remained determined to finish the journey and fully immerse myself in the experience. Whether it was assisting fellow trekkers, overcoming personal challenges, or advocating for environmental fellowship. Furthermore, our visit to a government school demonstrated the value of education in empowering people and promoting positive change. By interacting with students and planning engaging sessions, I hoped to instill a love of learning and highlight the importance of learning as an instrument for personal and societal development.
