Night out was a CAS experience, a creativity where we helped the leaders of the event manage it during the day and also helped them to set up things such as games or band performance. This CAS experience was tiring whereas enjoyable for me. As the leader strictly told in the meeting before the event that it would be tireless work. So, I prepared myself and I also made my goal at that point that I will try my best to help them and learn new skills like management by seeing them manage and also try to manage the event as much as I can. Knowing that it would be challenging, I still tried my best to overcome those challenges. As we had our night out on working days, as our school hours were over, we were directly assigned the task we needed to do while the others, who were not volunteers, went to get freshen up. We set up the game area at different places and we all were given a specific class from both of the grades as their volunteers, who gave the instructions and keep eye on them. As, both classes came one at a time at the venue, it made the work more easy and quick. After this all managment, we had night tournaments. And as volunteers, we were also assigned to the venues such as basketball court or turf to manage all of the them and keep an eye on them while they are playing their matches. This experience was tiring but, it was also fun as we were able to develop new skills and create new experiences.

LO 3 : “Initiate and plan a CAS experience”

In this CAS experience, we were helped them as volunteers in their work. As they were the team leaders, they told us about the work we need to do but, we as volunteers made our own CAS experience by helping and planned actions as per our goals. As my goal was to try my best to help them and learn new skills. For that, I tried to be more active while the event day and try as much as I can to help them. The actions and plans I performed on that day, helped me learn new skills such as Team work is important, leaderships skills, and many more.

LO 4 : “Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience”

This CAS experience was very tiring and challenging. We were assigned so much of work each time which was very difficult. But still I manage to motivate myself and try to overcome the challenges. I also made a commitment to achieve my goal at the end of the day. The motivation and the teamwork that kept active while working.

LO 5 : “demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively”

As, we were asked to setup things after the school hours were over, we were given only few minutes to set up everything which was very challenging. We managed it with doing team work. We collaboratively helped each other to set up everything. 

In the end, I was able to achieve my goal in this experience with the usage of learner profile attribute, open-minded as I respected the ideas and work they gave to us and also showed them the kindness they needed while managing the event. I was able to achieve my goal, developing new skills such as leadership skills. If I had a chance to do this creativity again, I would try to help them from advance by giving them ideas and thoughts for the event. I learned that, experience is not only required for a successful event, it also requires team work and confidence to do it.
