Donate Food Drive was a program where we went to rural areas near our school to donate leftover extra food to the needy.

For the food drive CAS experience, I demonstrated unwavering commitment and perseverance throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to the execution and follow-up, I dedicated significant time and effort to ensure its success. Despite facing challenges such as coordinating with local food banks, rallying volunteers, and promoting the event, I remained steadfast in my commitment to addressing food insecurity in our community.LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

We worked collaboratively as a team by dividing roles. We divided the chores like 1 person would serve 1 food item, like this the entire process ran smoothly and fast.

My engagement with the global issue was Zero Hunger. By doing this, we did not waste extra food that was left in school. The food was used properly because it was given to the villagers.

LO7 – Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions.

This food drive made me realize the importance of food. I felt grateful that I was blessed with good food. I made sure to take ethical actions like not wasting food or giving the food to someone to needs it.
