Global Odyssey Account Maintenance

In the global odyssey, the students of the school in grade 11 organize an event with stalls for food, fun and fashion. These stalls are visited by children of other grades and they then spend money on these stalls to buy food, get entertainment and purchase fashion products. I personally worked as a finance manager and accountant for a food stall. I was in charge of possession of the money of my stall, working their finance such as calculating and keeping track of their orders, cost, revenue, profit percentage, break-even point, etc. Each stall also gave away a certain percentage of their profit to a charity of their choice. Through this experience, I learnt a lot about business management such as marketing, costing, market survey and many more in addition to the financial mathematics behind exchange of money in a business. The stall that I worked as an accountant for was of vegan food items and with each order, they also spread awareness about animal cruelty, veganism and food substitutes.
