Bal Mela was a unique experience where I had the opportunity to help children from various schools learn and have fun in a vibrant and interactive environment. As a member of the media team, I was responsible for capturing the event through photography, documenting moments of joy, curiosity, and connection. This experience allowed me to explore my strengths as a photographer, collaborate with my team, and consider the ethical implications of photographing young children.

LO1 – Identifying Strengths and Developing Areas for Growth
Being behind the camera allowed me to use my photography skills to capture the essence of the event. I quickly recognized that my strength lay in candid photography, as I enjoy capturing spontaneous and authentic moments. However, I also realized that I could improve in terms of composition and timing, especially in a dynamic environment with kids moving around.
