This community clean was organised by my school for students to gain knowledge also teaches them to give back to the community. Every student is required to attend 4 clean-up drives, where professionals share their knowledge about the process , it’s advantages and disadvantages. My 1st drive was at Dumas beach , 2nd and 3rd were pond cleaning and 4th drive was a riverfront.

LO6: Engagement with issues of global significance

In this community clean-up we learn about why this clean-up is necessary what is it’s impact on the animals , the environment and atmosphere. Thought this CAS experience I was able to learn about the impact and much more , this would also allow me to broaden my horizons and gain more knowledge. Through this experience I would also think before I use plastic or throw away trash without separating it.

LO4: show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience.

since this CAS experience was a long programme , we had scheduled early-ins for doing the same , it meant I have to wake up an hour early each day hence it messed with my sleep schedule , hence I had to plan the rest of the day accordingly to fix my sleep schedule and maintain my well being.
