The school poured their heart and soul into organizing the marathon event, starting with the picturesque KG Farm as our gathering point. The volunteers, whom we affectionately referred to as ‘sirs’ and ‘ma’ams’, were like guardian angels, ensuring our safety at every turn of the course. As we jogged past, their smiles and encouraging cheers lifted our spirits and kept us going. And let’s not forget the water stalls—they were like oasis in the desert, manned by friendly faces offering much-needed hydration and motivation. It was clear that every aspect of the event was carefully considered, from the traffic management to the emergency protocols, all to create an unforgettable experience for us runners.

Running the marathon helped me figure out what I’m good at and what I need to work on. I felt strong as I pushed myself, but I also realized I need to get better at pacing myself and enduring long distances. It made me realize how important it is to know yourself and keep improving. So now, I’m focused on building on my strengths while also tackling my weaknesses, aiming to become a better runner overall.

Running the marathon was tough, but it taught me a lot. I had to deal with feeling tired and unsure of myself, but I didn’t give up. Along the way, I learned how to keep going even when things get hard. It helped me become stronger and more confident. Now, I know I can handle whatever challenges come my way.
L4. Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experienceParticipating in the marathon was a test of my perseverance and commitment to my CAS project. Despite facing exhaustion and doubts along the way, I never gave up. I kept pushing myself, one step at a time, until I crossed the finish line.
