This CAS journey wasn’t about winning trophies or acing smashes. It was about stepping outside my comfort zone, embracing challenges, and discovering a newfound passion for badminton. LO1: Identifying My Strengths and Growth Areas

Coming into this CAS experience, my athletic prowess was…well, let’s just say I wasn’t exactly a shoo-in for the Olympics. However, I did possess a decent amount of hand-eye coordination and stamina. Recognizing these strengths, I knew I could focus on developing my technique and badminton knowledge.

LO2: Embracing the Challenge and Acquiring New Skills

Badminton may seem like a simple game of hitting a birdie back and forth, but the reality is far more complex. Footwork, grip variations, and strategic shot placement – it all seemed so daunting at first. There were moments of pure frustration – missed shots, tangled footwork, etc. But with each fumble, I learned something new. I discovered a hidden determination within myself, a willingness to push past the initial discomfort and embrace the challenge of learning.
