FSMUN 10.0

I was a member/ a delegate in the ipl auction house in the FSMUN 10.0. In the MUN I had been appointed Rajasthan Royals team in the first auction, and in the second mega auction we again made different teams where me and my teammates also had to buy a team out of the budget which we were given.

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

Participating in the FSMUN IPL auction offered me and my peers a platform to identify their strengths and areas for growth. By assuming roles like franchise owners or team managers, me and my peers showcased skills such as effective communication, negotiation, strategic planning, leadership, and adaptability.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.

Participating in an IPL auction presents diverse challenges. Me and my peers understood player valuations, negotiate within budgets, and compete against other teams. I and my peers hone d negotiation skills, develop financial literacy, and adapt to the auction’s dynamic nature. Enhanced research and analysis skills aid informed bidding strategies, while teamwork and collaboration are crucial for success. Reflection fosters growth recognition and shapes their learning journey.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience.

The learning outcome of initiating and planning a CAS experience is closely intertwined with the FSMUN at an IPL auction, as students take the lead in collaborating with others, solve problems, and reflect on their learning and achievements. I also planned strategies to make the best team possible in the ipl auction.

LO7 – Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions.

IPL auction provides a rich context for me and my peers to recognize and consider the ethics of their choices and actions. It encourages ethical decision-making, fosters a deeper understanding of ethical principles, and promotes the development of ethical leadership skills. Me and my peers also thought twice before making any choices or actions.
