Our school’s Business Management and Economics IB DP students organized a fantastic event named Global Odyssey, and it was an absolute blast! This event brought our school community together and highlighted the diverse talents and skills of our students. For my part, I decided to create a stall in the “Fun” category. My stall was a playstation 5 in which I made people play fifa. Also, to ensure everyone had a great time, and I teamed up with my friends to make it enjoyable for all participants.

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

Participating in organizing the charity stall for the Global Odyssey project was truly enlightening. It revealed my ability to think quickly and solve problems as they arose. However, it also brought to light areas where I need to improve, particularly in managing my time effectively and also should me a scope of improvement in my communication skills. Reflecting on these experiences has ignited a passion within me to grow personally, and I am eager to explore ways to enhance my skills further which will help me to be a better version of myself.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.

As we delved into organizing the stall, we quickly realized that acquiring supplies and managing logistics presented significant challenges. Rather than being discouraged, we embraced these obstacles as opportunities for growth. Personally, I acquired valuable insights into task delegation, optimizing resource utilization, and effectively navigating unexpected hurdles. These newfound skills are not only pertinent to the success of our stall but also hold immense relevance for future endeavors. Handling these complexities has equipped me with a robust toolkit that I can leverage in various situations, fostering adaptability and resilience for the future.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience.

Me and my teammates first thought of possible stall ideas which we can implement so that our stall is a success. After thinking a lot we managed to get the hold of the idea of putting up a stall of playstation 5. We then thought of the possible games which we can keep our stalls. Then we got the best game which was fifa. Then me and my teammates also discussed few of tactics and plans which we could implement to raise some money. This help me to make my organizational skills better and this also help to make my leadership skills better.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.

Collaborating closely with my peers allowed us to navigate challenges effectively and leverage each other’s strengths to our advantage. This experience underscored the importance of cooperation and highlighted the immense benefits that stem from collective effort. By working together seamlessly, we not only accomplished our goals but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and mutual support within our team. This event served as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of unity and collaboration, reinforcing the notion that together, we can achieve far more than we could individually.
