Global Odyssey is an event organized by the BM and Econ team. This event was like a business fair which included a band performance, photo booths, and food. As a person who is interested in Economics and Business Management, I naturally took part in the event. I had a food stall where I sold strawberry chocolate with my peers.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience

I had to plan this CAS experience as we had to decide and finalize the items we were going to sell beforehand and also we as a team initiated what stall we would do. I planned this CAS experience by making sure that we had all the required information beforehand like what would be the approximate quantity we would sell, the product we would sell, etc.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

The stall was a team effort as I and my friends collaboratively worked on the stall. This was beneficial as the role of management of the stall was divided. We divided the role in terms of different people bringing different food items and doing different jobs in the stall, this created efficiency in the stall and also reduced errors.

 LO6 – Engagement with issues of global significance

When the event was done, A particular percentage of our revenue was donated to the charity, this helps the people present in the NGO this donation can help the people there get basic necessities such as food and shelter as they are not privileged to have them.
