Farewell is one of the most awaited events of the school, so being a part of the farewell team was so much fun while learning many things simultaneously. I chose to be on the decor team for the farewell. Being part of the farewell team and organizing the farewell for our seniors is an honor. I was always very creative in arts and crafts hence I chose to be a part of the decor team as I thought I could give good ideas for the farewell.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience

We had to plan the whole farewell decor the farewell as without the preparation form there would have been a lot of chaos and misunderstanding that could potentially ruin the whole event. Hence we started preparing the decor and activities for the farewell a month before the actual date and decided on all the basics like what should be the theme, the decorations, etc., and started working on it as soon as possible to avoid any delay.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

As we were a team of 15+ people, we all had to work collaboratively and divide tasks among ourselves to work more efficiently and complete the task more quickly with quality. We also had to collaborate with our supervisor as we had to get permission for most of the projects we were doing . Additionally, we all collaborated and discussed which projects and decor we should have and which to avoid.
