2 Day trekking Trip Igatpuri – Activity, Service

In a journey of self-discovery and community engagement, we students from Fountainhead School embarked on a two-day trekking program in the scenic landscapes of Igatpuri. This immersive experience not only challenged students to step out of their comfort zones and develop new skills but also showcased their perseverance, commitment, and spirit of companionship as they entertained and engaged with students from Igatpuri through various games and activities.

Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrating Challenges Undertaken and Developing New Skills .

The trekking program in Igatpuri presented students with a series of physical, mental, and emotional challenges, pushing them to test their limits and embrace new skills. As they navigated rugged terrains, conquered steep inclines, and camped under the stars, we developed resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Through teamwork, communication, and leadership, students honed their outdoor survival skills, navigational techniques, and group dynamics, fostering personal growth and a deeper appreciation for nature’s beauty. By engaging in the meticulous planning process, we developed skills in project management, time organization, budgeting, and risk assessment, laying the groundwork for a successful and impactful CAS initiative.
